An Exorcist Tells His Story.
By Fr. Gabriele Amorth
In this powerful book, the renowned exorcist of Rome tells of his many experiences in his ministry as an exorcist doing battle with Satan to relieve the great suffering of people in the grip of evil. The importance of the ministry to "expel demons" is clearly seen in the Gospels, from the actions of the Apostles, and from Church history. Fr. Amorth allows the reader to witness the activities of the exorcist, to experience what an exorcist sees and does. He also reveals how little modern science, psychology, and medicine can do to help those under Satan's influence, and that only the power of Christ can release them from this kind of mental, spiritual or physical suffering.

An Exorcist Tells His Story has been a European best-seller that has gone through numerous printings and editions. No other book today so thoroughly and concisely discusses the topic of exorcism.

The Catholic Family Handbook.
By Lawrence G. Lovasik
Here is a crucial book for you if you want to shield your family from the effects of our selfish secular culture, which destroys families and poisons relationships. Fr. Lawrence Lovasik, the renowned author of The Hidden Power of Kindness, gives faithful Catholics all the essential ingredients of a stable and loving Catholic marriage and family - ingredients that are in danger of being lost in our turbulent age. Using Scripture and Church teachings in an easy-to-follow step-by-step format, Fr. Lovasik helps you understand the proper role of the Catholic father and mother and the blessings of having a large family. He shows you how you can secure happiness in marriage, develop the virtues necessary for a successful marriage, raise children in a truly Catholic way, and much more. Unlike most guides for parents, The Catholic Family Handbook details simple but often overlooked ways that you can instill good character in your children, protect them from the many sinful and dangerous enticements of the world, and make child-rearing truly spiritual. He even explains how to teach your children the all-but vanished art of good manners, and gives you common-sense tips on how to deal with misbehavior, use punishment prudently, and even how to discipline teenagers wisely and effectively. Here is a timely, much-needed, and comprehensive handbook.

Splendor in the Ordinary, Your Home as a Holy Place.
By Thomas Howard
Thomas Howard insists that every room of your house - the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom, and even the bathroom - is a holy place where God’s grace awaits you, if only you know how to recognize His presence there. With a rich appreciation for the glories of God’s all-encompassing love, Howard shows you how to find Him in Splendor in the Ordinary.

This beautifully written book takes you on a tour through your own home. In each room, Howard shows you the surprising ways you can meet God there. (He starts with the door and the walls!) With fervent devotion, his meditations encompass the experience of ancient Israel, who met God in terror and smoke and fire in the Tabernacle, and the sacrifice of Christ, which sanctifies the whole world. But they’re by no means confined to a lofty spiritual plane: Howard sees chances to love and serve God, and sees His gentle hand, in the most seemingly dull and ordinary of places and actions.

The Shroud of Turin, A Case for Authenticity.
By Fr. Vittorio Guerrera
The Shroud of Turin is a brief but convincing expose of the main facts which coallesce to prove that the Shroud of Turin is in fact the "Winding Sheet" in which Our Lord was interred. Covered here are the evidence from pollen on the Shroud, the way the Shroud matches the head cloth (preserved in Spain), the coins on the eyes and their dates, the nature and number of the wounds on the body, the nature of the actual image on the Shroud, why it could not possibly be a painting, the positive and negative image, what seemingly caused the image, the linen material itself, the Shroud's known history, the dirt on the feet of the body, what caused the person to die, the proofs the subject was buried quickly, etc.

All the known facts point to the Shroud's being the true "Winding Sheet of Our Lord"--despite the conclusions of the scientific study done on it in 1988 indicating that it dates from the Middle Ages. The author shows why this latter conclusion is skewed and why it flies in the face of overriding evidence of every other nature that the Shroud most likely is the linen cloth that was wrapped around Our Lord's sacred body when it was laid in the tomb.

A fast-paced book that is easy to read, The Shroud of Turin is guaranteed to interest everyone and give convincing proof--despite the recent propaganda to the contrary--that the Shroud of Turin is the actual burial cloth of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Classic Catholic Converts.
By Fr. Charles P. Connor
Classic Catholic Converts presents the compelling stories of over 25 well-known converts to Catholicism from the 19th and 20th centuries. It tells of powerful testimonials to God's grace, men and women from all walks of life in Europe and America whose search for the fullness of truth led them to the Catholic Church. It is the witness of brilliant intellectuals, social workers, scientists, authors, film producers, clergy, businessmen, artists and others who, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, studied and prayed their way into the Church.

Fr. Charles Connor writes insightful and wonderfully readable stories of a rich variety of converts who struggled greatly with many challenges as they embraced Catholicism, including rejection by loved ones, persecution from strangers, and misunderstanding by peers. Why I Bacame a Catholic, A Timeless Conversion Story. By Sir Joseph Pope
Originally written as a personal testimony to his own children on why he became a Catholic, this is a thoughtful and timeless conversion story of Sir Joseph Pope written during the early part of the 20th century. Born in 1854 to a family renowned for distinguished service to the Canadian government, Joseph carried on the family tradition as a highly regarded civil servant.

Like St. Thomas More, Pope was held in high esteem as a public servant, and he enjoyed the total confidence of prime ministers and governors, all whom sought his advice. He was a prolific author of some two dozen books and pamphlets, including the official biographies of major Canadian historical figures.

Amidst this busy public life, Sir Joseph Pope developed a profound spiritual life and a mind always hungry for eternal truth. Raised in a nominal Anglican family, his persistent and courageous search for the fullness of truth and grace finally led him home to the Catholic Church.
