Help Us to Flood the World with Devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, Mediatrix of Grace

Help Us to Establish Thousands and Thousands of Local Chapters to Turn the Tide of Immorality Engulfing the World

Remember What Our Lady Said at La Salette---The Reason Why So Many Disasters Fell Upon the World at That Time Was the Lack of Observance of the Precept of Sunday Mass Attendance. How Much More So Has the Problem Increased in Our Own Time---Our Lord Exhorted Us to An Additional Remedy---Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of His Mother to Turn the Tide for the Good of the Church and the World!!! Why Not Do Your Part and So We Say:

Welcome to the Chapter Formation and Information Page of Opus Mariæ Mediatricis

Norms For Chapters

If you would like to form a chapter please do the following:

  1. Begin the search for other prospective members. We recommend no more than 13 members per chapter. You may accept more than 13 members on condition that they will eventually start another chapter.
  2. The leader of the chapter will be appointed by the Chapter Coordinator.
  3. The chapter leader chooses two of his members, one to serve as secretary, the other as treasurer.
  4. At the first chapter meeting, arranged at a convenient time for all the members, by majority vote, the name of a saint or blessed is chosen for the chapter, which name is submitted to the Chapter Coordinator for approval.
  5. At the first chapter meeting, the date and place for the monthly Fatima First Saturday Oratory is decided. If a church or chapel is available so much the better. On the other hand it may be conducted in any convenient location.
  6. The Fatima First Saturday Oratory is the principle spiritual work of local chapters---a means of corresponding more perfectly to the request of Our Lord, that devotion to the Immaculate Heart of His Mother, be placed next to that of His Sacred Heart.
  7. The Holy Communion of reparation may be made by chapter members, either individually or in common, depending on the availability of Mass.
  8. To summarize, the Fatima First Saturday Oratory consists of the following: a) Recitation of five decades of the Rosary; b) Meditation for 15 minutes on one or more mysteries of the Rosary. The meditation may be read aloud from any approved book of meditations e.g. Divine Intimacy, the works of St. Louis Marie Grignion DeMontfort or St. Maximillian Kolbe. Best of all would be meditative reading from the New Testament, e.g. the account of the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Birth of Our Lord, His Passion and Death, etc., etc.
  9. For other spiritual and corporal works of mercy, ask for a copy of our Apostolic Action Items leaflet.
  10. In addition to the monthly chapter meeting, the executive council, that is the leader, the secretary and the treasurer meet once a month at a time convenient to themselves to arrange the details of the Fatima First Saturday Oratory, including assigning chapter members to phone a monthly reminder to attend the Oratory on the First Saturday. The executive council also discusses other possible apostolates to be discussed, as to their practicality and possibility, to be presented to members after the First Saturday devotions.
  11. Highly recommended also is the Fatima 13th of the Month Oratory. It consists of 15 decades of the Rosary.
  12. All chapter and executive meetings end with the Litany of Our Lady, Mediatrix of Grace and the prayer of Pope Leo XIII, Ad Te, Beate Joseph: To Thee, O Blessed Joseph.
